One paragraph on who you are, one real question. That's the whole formula.

Questions people ask

What do you work on?

I’m a founder. Most of my working hours go into my current company; the rest go into writing down what building it teaches me. The now page has the current snapshot.

Do you mentor or advise?

Occasionally, when the fit is right — usually early-stage founders working on problems I’ve made mistakes in already (hiring, distribution, co-founder dynamics). Email me with one paragraph on what you’re building and one specific question.

Do you invest?

Not actively right now. If that changes, this answer will change.

What books should I start with?

The three I re-read: The Hard Thing About Hard Things, Thinking in Bets, and Deep Work. My notes on each are on the reading page.

What's the best way to reach you?

Email, always. Short and specific beats long and polite. I read everything; I reply to anything with a real question in it.
